Komodo National Park is located about 200 nautical miles east of Bali was established in 1980 to protect the endangered Komodo Dragon. The park includes 3 major Island: Komodo, Rinca and Padar and marine waters of about 130,000ha. Komodo national park houses more then 1,000 species of fishes and 260 species of reef coral, with dugong, sharks, manta rays, whales, dolphins and sea turtle also making the list.
Few would argue that Indonesia is one of the top diving destinations in Asia. Not many other countries can boast of such a number of world class dive destinations housed within waters.
